They're all cool but the 3rd one is fan-fukken-tastic! These pages remind me of an upcoming [Fantagraphics?] book will all abstract stuff.

Neat.

I didn't know you were a Fifth Element fan, but it kinda makes sense. It had some problems, but I think it's the closest to Heavy Metal-style, crazy European sci-fi comics we'll ever see onscreen. Some movies you love at first and then gradually you realize they're crap, others you think are just OK and then eventually you realize they're kinda special. FE was one of the latter, for me.

Yeah, FE has some problems (goofy incidental music, cheesy love story, chris tucker, etc)... but I can't help loving it. As far as I'm concerned it is a masterpiece of editing and scene transitions. I love how seemingly unrelated scenes are woven together in a way that seems completely natural.
