actually, this is a redraw of a mini-comic I did waaaay back in 2007. Which, in terms of my comics making career, seems like ages ago.

...i found the challenge of completing 24 pages just for the sake of 24 pages kind of boring.
So instead I challenged myself to complete, in 24 hours, 8 really good pages. It didn't quite work out but I did get 7 pages that I really like. Imma going to finish the the 8th, and final, page and ink the whole thing next weekend. It most likely will be a mini.

So here's a drawing I did inspired by some John Buscema Silver Surfer comics.




But I have been drawing and working on comics and stuff. Here's some character sketches for a story I'm trying to get worked out.

not all that original but whatevers.
I've also been messing around (doing tons of portraits from magazines) with a sumi brush and ink

i think I'll fer sure be doing some more stuff with that.
