Drawing of a character created by my friend Jared. We're planning on doing some  things with this character. It'll be great.

SICK WHALES

These are character designs I did for a little animated project that I've been working on for the last several months with my friends Pj Kneisel, and Jared Blunk. Nothing is animated as of yet because we've been putting such a large amount of work into the script. That and we've all got our own individual projects going on. I've been cracking down on myself to get the first part of Agara done and ready for comic-con next summer. It'll be gooooood. I'll post some stuff from it in the next few days I will I will.

Long time, no one cares

sloppily colored yes, I know.
i'm working on another draft of Agara. What is this? #4? I think it's the final one. I've been working on this nonsense for a year.

so, I'm penciling the final draft of Agara. Add a few pages here and take away a panel there and what should be page 37 is page 65. the first draft is around 400 pages so the final will be... who knows. Then I'll be inking forever.
ive got some other (much much shorter) comics i've written and plan to do in the meantime just for the sake of putting out SOMETHING.

something I'd forgotten about

duh rest )duh rest )
duh rest )I drew this right before comic-con last year, threw in a folder, and forgot all about it. i had a whole graphic novel worth of story outlined in notes somewhere. they're probably lost somewhere, who knows. it had something to do with one of the big guys manipulating one of the little guys into setting him free and then him setting out to free the rest of his fellow big guys all while the little guys were struggling to fight a war with the block-head aliens. duh rest )

this has been one of my all time favorite comics pages for quite a while. i scanned it from Brave and the Bold #177 (1981) and this, a Dungeons & Dragons ad, was easily the best page in the comic.
